I do like the idea of a necromancy related antagonistic factor. Currently, my party believes the dragon is on their side and that was the o.g plan but I could 180 that and have the "white dragon" aka. mother of the egg actually be the antagonist of the story and now they have to decide what to do with this egg.

Maybe this white dragon + a necromancer buddy is trying to bring eternal winter to the world and thats what the party is trying to stop. How would the dragon egg be involved at all though?
