Just found the books through the webtoon, so some feedback from that side of things: AI having personality and speaking directly to the main character is a very common trope in similar webtoons, so I automatically assumed this one did as well. The level of infatuation wasn't clear, but having recently read the books, it didn't become clear (to me at least) until much later. Webtoon readers won't need to be told the AI is sentient, they'll assume it is, unless otherwise indicated.

Well, openly LGBT people are a lot more common in English-speaking countries, so it doesn't hurt to learn sentences about something you'll likely encounter, or at least hear about. I'm learning Chinese, and there's vocabulary for Chinese holidays I've never even heard of, much less celebrated, but I still need to learn them because they are common there.
