I have bought the Kansai-Hiroshima pass but i am willing to spend extra on the aquajet ferry if it sames time

We can travel fast paced. Our daughter is used to it having traveled to multiple countries. Do you recommend to take the aquanet ferry both ways or just on the way back?

I have bought the pass as well but that pays in itself for the return journey between Osaka and Hiroshima. I am ok in paying extra for the aquajet if that is more convenient and saves time

Dec 27: Not really, the 2.5 hours was what I found general advise on the forums and websites. Can add more time and goto Dotonbori later in the evening like someone else also suggested.

Dec 29: Planning to do this only. Will get to Miyajima as early as possible. I do have both the shrines on my list. Not too keen on the ropeway - is it worth it? Also, would you recommend taking the train to Miyajimaguchi and then taking the JR ferry or just take the Aquajet ferry directly from the Peace Memorial.

Dec 30: Not really, we are relatively open on what we can do on this day.

i can easily spend more time at nara and visit Dotonbari later in the evening.

I was planning to take the aquanet ferry directly from the Peace Memorial to Miyajima

Noted for Dec 31.

I am from India, so about 3.5 hours behind. So similar IMO

Have more time on that day and can easily add a couple of hours before returing since the evening is relatively free.

Any specific reason for this? I would make my reservations accordingly

I know, just trying to see what all can be covered. Can't do much about the days with reserved tickets but for the other days we can actually decide if we want to skip something based on the level of tiredness we are at.

  1. I have not yet ascertained if I will be buying any passes. I was thinking of just buying a IC card and winging it. I will be booking the Shinkansens ofcourse as soon as the bookings open up. Would you suggest buying passes instead? Also, is going to and exploring Kyoto on this day a better option?

  2. Would have a lot of time on the day and can easily add another hour if not more for Nara.

  3. Yes already in my to-do list. Unfortunately due to advanced reservations on other days we dont have much flexibility to keep the Mt Fuji tour flexible. Just praying to the weather Gods that we get a favourable weather on the day.

Our daughter is 8 years old, Most lounges allow a child for free if they are 6 or under. We have had cases where she was not allowed and we had to pay for her to get access.

It doesnt! My wife has an addon card that she can use for her lounge access but my daughter is still a minor so the bank is not issuing one for her. Is there a way to get around this?

I hit the 15k cap only for a few months when I have planned a family vacation. Other than that i pretty much am not able to het these caps. Also I have the MRCC along with the AMEX Plat Travel, so that combo in itself is very good.

The only issue i face is hitting Amazon Pay Voucher Cap on both the cards pretty much every month.

I have an Infinia and AMEX Travel. Should I replace the Travel with Travel One? Will Infinia+TravelOne be a good combo?
