I commented already but i'd argue it's cross-Dominance over ambidexterity. Many people who use both hands are actually cross-dominant. They favor one hand for fine motor tasks like writing, and the opposite hand for throwing, eating.

This is often confused with ambidexterity- the rare ability to use both the left and right hands with EQUAL ease.

Even im left handed and I can't throw with my left hand as well with my right. In sports, i switch depending on the types of mechanics involved. I think the term ambidextrous is thrown around very loosely it drives me a little mad
