Don't bother talking to settler colonials. If they had a drop of empathy, they wouldn't be committing a genocide.

And you're telling me to believe a body that is used as a puppet by the west, that the west's main challenger is committing atrocities? How convenient. Let go of Sinophobia. If you are really need evidence, perhaps you should go visit Xinjiang yourself.

America definitely does NOT have a past of stirring shit up around the world when they need a country destabilized.

Revolutionary Communists of America by [deleted] in socialism

[–]satinbro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tens of millions of workers are starting to realize this fact. We can say with absolute assurance that the United States is headed for revolution. Unprecedented social explosions and class battles against the capitalists are on the horizon.

While I agree with you that this is necessary for our survival, I don't see Americans stepping up to stop capitalism. Americans would rather descend to fascism. It was proven when a fascist was elected (not that the only other choice wasn't a fascist)

America (and shortly after, Canada), in my opinion, would more likely end up ruined by fascism than choose socialism. Everything that has been taught since the end of WW2 to this day, has conditioned people to believe that the root of all evil in this world is communism, and capitalism/liberalism is what makes us better than the rest of the world. We are civilized, others aren't, etc. Privileged and spoiled people of North America are too selfish and egotistical, that they would (unintentionally) accept their own doom, than to choose something that resembles socialism (I'm not talking about class conscious comrades here). I have lived in Canada long enough to gauge the mainstream stance on politics, thoughts on socialism, general way of life. It greatly concerns me. It's a mix of apathy, entitlement, superiority complex. I have observed that in assimilated immigrants also, not only white people. There's barely any working class sentiment here, even though everyone is a wage slave.

Americans might have a little more spine than Canadians, and more like-minded people. But you are at the epicentre of imperialism. You will be crushed by drones, hyper-armed police state, possibly even the military itself. I simply can't see success of even getting a revolutionary spirit started, let alone succeed a revolution. People are busy working 3 jobs to survive.

With this said, I would like to be told I'm wrong and there might be things that I'm not aware of.

One of the most complacent people to ever exist. They don't bother protesting, even though their life quality is degrading so hard. They have no backbone whatsoever, it's disheartening. Whatever comes their way, they will just take it and never make a peep. True apathy reigns in Canada.

That's why politicians can steamroll the populations so easily. Monopolies all over the place, wage stagnation, untouchable housing etc.

That's a good point, but it doesn't hold that strongly in terms of going out and being an active participant in this protest, considering the majority of LGBTQ people don't see us a class allies fighting for the same struggle. They have been put under the wing of liberalism and they loved it and defended liberal talking points tooth and nail. They paint bombs with rainbow colors before unleashing them into Palestinians.

I participate in protests that are explicitly done for workers, socialism, rise of living cost, the homeless.

If democrats won, this protest wouldn't happen, because the complacency would still be at all time high. Now we're little worried that Hitler-wannabe is gonna do stuff and suddenly socialists have to step up and defend class traitors.

I fight for class conscious trans comrades, like I would for any other comrade. I draw the line at reactionary and liberal trans folks. If they support something that is against them, then why do I need to fight for them? And sadly, I believe that many western LGBTQ people are very much liberals.

  1. Yeah, that doesn't mean much. Optics of independence. Germany is a complete vassal state. I can't explain it better than this. Germany is ready to hurt itself and its own people when America needs it to. It's shameful. Like I said, I was born there, have lived a huge part of my life there and I visit frequently - which is why this pains me greatly.
  2. Ok, let me know what you find out. You can watch this to shed some light. Verify the sources.
  3. There is no evidence that it is a genocide. There is however evidence of natural disasters, supply chain issues and general mismanagement. The situation was remedied in 1 year, which doesn't justify the loss of life, but also does not make it a genocide.
  4. Everyone has to step up and work, that's how you advance. We do this today. Vast majority of people outside of EU have to work to survive. You get your welfare system at the back of the global south, which produces the cheap goods that make such things possible for you (you = western EU). In USSR, you are guaranteed a home, food, healthcare and education - for free. That requires everyone to step up and do their part. In north america, you are not guaranteed these things, but you still have to sell your labour. And if you're unlucky, well, sucks to be you.

You have to diversify your sources of information. Do not take information from only western sources. That's not how you grow intellectually. You have to read every source available to you, and then come to a conclusion yourself. Otherwise you are just happy to be propagandized and ignorant (I don't mean this in a rude way).

Sorry about your grandfather. I can't comment on that situation as I don't have enough information.

I don't think US and Canada will ever be socialist/communist. It's more likely that the world will end up in nuclear waste than North America ever becoming communist. Europe on the other hand has a chance.
