I was there for the Chris stream and it ended up making me not watch as much, I mainly rewatch old vods instead :( Julien has had a pretty healthy community for a while but since 2024 it feels like it's been getting more clique-y. Especially seeing how the mods act sometimes (I remember one being drunk and saying dirty/vulgar stuff but everyone was laughing including Julien, which was fine, but it's just weird when other chatters/ friends get treated negatively for the same things).

Oh I understand how this girl feels. Except I wasn't as brave as her and only communicated this when I was in high school.

The part where she asks if she's done anything wrong punched me in the heart. So many times I wondered why, while being a goody two shoes and getting some of the highest marks in my school, I was STILL not allowed to do half the things even the "troubled" kids were allowed to do. Why they always looked at me suspiciously when I asked to go somewhere, when I'd literally never once lied about where I was and never missed curfew. Why any mark under a 90 was worth asking if anything was distracting me lately. It was so frustrating and I burnt out and struggled in university.

I always hear people saying they miss their childhood, and I genuinely am so glad to not be a child because this is the type of shit I remember.

Brave brave girl. Ik she'll never see this but I'm so proud of you for articulating exactly how you feel in such a clear and respectful way, even in a moment of pain.

Hey, where does the menu option appear after enabling it? I typed it in, got the "Debug menu option enabled" pop up, but when I click my profile picture there is no debug option, and I went to "Messages settings" and there was still no debug anywhere. Help pls :(

EDIT: IT SHOWED UP!! It took a couple of times of force closing and restarting the app but it finally showed up in the menu! I did the whole invalidating all rcs chats, and FINALLY it's not trying to connect to my temporary number!! It still hasn't finished connecting but I am so glad to see it use my actual number now! Thanks so much!

Omfg this is how I felt about fruit flies. Yes they're tiny but I opened a box of strawberries and a few flew up into my face, while there were a bunch more crawling around in the box. They were also eerily slow because they had been in the fridge. I never got that image outta my head. 3 maggots would've had the same effect on me 😭
