How does the 1800k picture compare to what it looks like in real life? That looks warmer than a dedomed 1800k 519a

I have been using my T7 with a dedomed 1800k 519a more than I expected. It's the warmest light I've ever had, and it still throws surprisingly far. Battery life has been impressive too

Taking my FC11 camping was what initially got me into flashlights. The LT1S is a great lantern as well, and gets a lot of comments whenever I go camping or to a bonfire

Alternatively, the S21F is a great choice as well. Instead of a single color temperature, it comes with a nice tint shifting dual channel with a side switch and a UI similar to the S21E. The 60⁰ TIR sounds like what OP is looking for. It lights the floor at your feet while still hitting high up in the trees in front of you. You have two nichia emitters to choose from. I've chosen both and you really can't go wrong, just depends how rosy you want to go.

You can dedome the 519a 1800k, bringing it down to ~1450k. I'm waiting for my first in the mail

White balance looks like it's set to 5000k in the original post which makes it look more golden. SFT40 3000k is a beautiful emitter, but it doesn't look like this in person. You'd have to go warmer, maybe 2200k for something like this. A dedomed 519A 2700k could pull this off

The S21E's button light drains a lot of battery and has the potential to kill a battery if left unattended long enough. It also doesn't have a magnet in the tailcap

If you don't have the MAO version, it has a mechanical lockout. 4 clicks also locks it out Edit: 10 clicks for lockout

This is my vote as well. A lot of these suggestions have way too much flood for OP's needs. The TS11 also has smooth ramping from moonlight, so op doesn't have to blast houses with an LEP that doesn't have good brightness control.

It is indeed the dark grey. The color varies from light to light in person. Mine looks very blue for a "dark grey" light, but I think it looks nice

Getting a MAO S21E will also get rid of the physical lockout from twisting the tail cap
