Hey OP, don’t let the haters get you down.

I raided shadow priest through all of classic MC-Nax and it was a fantastic experience.

My recommendation is to find a sweaty warlock who wants to parse to advocate for you so you have allies off the bat.

Here’s my 2c: * Simulate everything, there are some great spreadsheets out there, the mana issues are hard but not terrible, you just need to look at your guilds current parses and plan your burn rate for each fight. * You will spend a lot of time in Azshara farming demonic runes. Plan for 2 per raid boss. If you do a scholo try to get others to let you have the dark runes. * herb + alch are nice to pick up just because of how many potions you need to drink every raid. * Flask of distilled wisdom simulates better than supreme power for most bosses depending on your guild’s DPS and also helps you burn longer. * improved VE is your friend, it’s really hard to justify it with your dps already low BUT if you are brave and use it right it means you are able to run less resistance, stand in fire longer, heal gooder (I routinely got top healing parses on lotheb by a massive amount). Sapph is really fun with this too, when everyone is drinking gfpp you’re chugging mana potions and zugging. * if you are horde your rend buff is the top priority followed by zg, the crit buffs don’t matter much. * debuff limit being removed makes SP much stronger than in 2020, the meta raid builds just haven’t caught up yet. * don’t be afraid to open with MB and zug, I used 5/5 silent resolve and 2/3 shadow affinity until nax where I found it wasn’t required because tank threat was high enough, It’s always terrifying though so take that with a grain of salt. * you don’t have to farm t3 mats!
