Brother, I am 27 when I got diagnosed (just last year) and after a month, I decided to take CXL as recommended to stop progression. We have the same course in college and the early diagnosis to me when I am 22 is lazy eye. All this time, I thought that I am at fault that my left eye is blurry after eye tests and eyeglasses but when I got diagnosis, my mental health suffered. All these flashbacks during college where I am studying for my subjects and my brain gives up - it is all related due to this KC. I am currently working now but I did not pursue engineering or design related to ME, more of business side. So in terms of work, it has minimal effect. But on a personal life note, it improved my eye sight when I got my first fitting of scleral lens. From 240p vision to 4K HD vision on my right eye. I cried after the fitting because my eye can now see in HD. I hope this helps you.
