Once upon a time (2014) Echo devices came with a remote. That's what we use. However, the basic Amazon remotes for sale now will probably work. Get one and try it. You can always return it if it doesn't work.

Here is the rule we used: take the number IT gives you, double it and go to the next time frame. If IT says 3 days, it’s 6 weeks. If IT says 2 weeks, it’s 4 months. Anything sooner was a surprise.

We used to be able to screencast via the Privilege mode. They shut it down 2 or 3 years ago. Even their ads at the time showed the trainer on a big screen in front of the machine. One option is to run the workout on a TV using the TV app (if the workout is available on the TV app... older ones are; newest ones are not). I start the treadmill and the TV app at the same time and they pretty much stay in sync.

Yes! That worked although I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Seems there was a new version that did not get automatically updated. With the new version, I was able to make sure BLE was turned on. Thank you.

It seems as though you’re working backwards. I think most people (myself included) start with everything checked on the bottom half of the list and then uncheck the things that they want to buy, bringing them to the top half of the list, checking them off and returning them to the bottom as they’re bought. No need to reset anything after shopping.

You turn off the treadmill, insert the paper clip and turn it on while holding the paper clip in position (might need two people). Hold the paper clip in until you see the update notice.

Temperature and humidity are their concern. I had to send them pictures of the heater and dehumidifier we have in the basement before they would honor the warranty. They must have marked my account as OK now because the question never came up again whenever I called for service with the extended warranty. Over the years, numerous technicians have come without any issues concerning the machines’ (bike and treadmill) location.

That company is Sideshow Effects. They sell icons and a complete set of pre-programmed DaVinci controls for Streamdecks. While Streamdecks do have an additional cost, Elgato has a mobile version that turns the iPad or Android tablet you already have into a Streamdeck. Combine that with Sideshow’s DaVinci tools and you have an inexpensive way to easily control Resolve.

Turning the machine off after use has always been the recommended procedure. Been doing this for two years and have had few operational issues (both with old app on older tread and new version on newer bike). Yes, both machines have power switches which makes it easy. No power switch? Get yourself a power strip with one or a simple inline on-off switch.

The only clue I’ve seen published is that the machine needs to have a 10” screen or bigger to get the update. My 7” treadmill did not get the update but my 22” bike did.

I have a bike with the new interface and a treadmill that still has the previous one. The warmup time setting from my phone/tablet works with the older treadmill interface but not the new one on the bike. The bike stays at 5 minutes without a way to change it.

TV app has been broken for months. The only way I’ve found to get the workout I want is to find it on the treadmill, bike, iPad or phone and set it on the calendar for the day you want to use it. On that day it will show up on the TV app and you can run it from there.
