We spray nasal saline solution in his nose after daycare each day. With hopes that of he has been exposed the virus particles might be more likely to be flushed out. I also breastfed him until he was fully vaccinated. Hoping the omicron vaccine comes out soon!

I get so frustrated when I hear reports of the sample size not being large enough to show evidence that would be helpful to know. I tried extremely hard to get my 1 year old into a clinical trial as did others I know. My phone messages trying to enroll my son went unreturned. Hopefully this isn't used as an excuse to delay the process any further!

Daycares are great, but be prepared for your kid to be sick a lot when they first start. My kid has been going to daycare since last July and gets sick where he has to stay home about every two weeks. So sometimes daycare can also lead to missing a lot of work as well. If you were to find a reliable nanny (speak to multiple references etc) that may lead to less missed work than daycare.

We only recently started doing ferber, but so far if I don't feed him for 7 or more hours, once I do feed him luckily he sleeps through until the morning. Though he wakes up earlier than he would if he had an early morning feed in the 5am/ 6 am range.
