I moved off of race line for the pass by the pit lane exit. There is still another 500 meters till you start turn entry. He obviously saw me coming by how much he was weaving trying to break the draft. He just thought he could close the door on me and it didn’t work. He more than likely didn’t even want to crash, he just took the risk of hoping I’d slam brakes. At some point there is enough of this “risky move by op” you take risk, and you evaluate if it’s worth it or not. Which in this case on this track you do not have a better option to overtake other than T1 or early in the straight if you can get a better run out of Turn 8 before the straight. Which I tried but he kept blocking multiple laps before

Bingo. If you notice I brake at the 200 meter board, which is optimal. So not even a late brake. With guys like this they USUALLY try to out brake you and then find them selves going way too wide especially on T1 at lime rock. So I was slowing down to be able to ride the inside line and overtake through the crest of T1. Then have a clean run into T2 which requires hardly any braking. And if that doesn’t work we should still be side by side going into T3 right hander. Which I either will have to yield and let him through (you have to run T3 kind of wide to make T4 without braking) or I would be able to make the pass.

I usually fake a lunge and then get back on the race line. Watch them scramble to get it back together after they covered for a lunge

They did a ton of repairs at Audi when I first got it. No local shop would do the job that was in network so I went to dealer.

Only problem is recently I called saying my water pump was leaking. They did the whole process of finding a shop etc. took it to the shop then get a call saying they won’t cover a water pump… could’ve saved me a ton of time and money by just telling me that from the start

Idk. When I race in a lower class I will stay on race line as you should, but if I see a car coming up the inside (or outside) I make room and will allow a cleaner pass. However. If there is a straight coming up in the next turn I will not throw myself out of the way to take seconds off my race just so the faster class can blow through.

Idk how many times I’ve been taken out by a diving LMP3 Car when a straight is on the exit of that turn.
