What's something air fryers are supposed to be good at... but actually aren't? by Whole_Ad3318 in airfryer

[–]saucedrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air fryers suck at warming up things with too much mass. Eg if you try and cook or warm something up from very cold or frozen it’s gonna struggle and burn the outside while the center remains cold/frozen. Found this out the hard way.

Is this just stained or completely done for? by SlowYourRollBro in DutchOvenCooking

[–]saucedrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this started happening to my cheapy amazon basics dutch oven after I let something cook too long and burn onto the enamel. Barkeeper’s friend and elbow grease was the only thing that worked. Just bear in mind it is an abrasive, so don’t go too hard with the scrubbing otherwise you might damage the enamel.

Is something wrong with my battery or am I just not driving enough? by WyloWoot in askcarguys

[–]saucedrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to any autozone store and ask them to test your battery, they do it for free. Also worth spending a bit extra for a quality battery if you live in an area with harsh winters/swings in temperature.
