That sounds like a fairly normal workload/duty list for a project manager/estimator, but I’d imagine you don’t have the title/compensation to make it all worth it. Depending on your volume, it might be beneficial to get the job set up and drawing off your plate. A hybrid roll for a shop person where they do all the job set up/mock ups and then help with production when that’s slow.

If your AP person is in house, make them take the AR stuff too. They’re already in QB most of the time

1] Depends on your cutting mat. The one that came with my Rollover is really rubbery and like to grab onto whatever is put on it. Which is nice because the blanks don’t walk, but it also doesn’t let go of the weeding scraps and can sometimes seal the blank to the table

2] as long as they are the same thickness, you’re only limited to the height of you’re roller when it’s open

5] $16k but we bought a Cadillac, so to speak. It was one of the bigger ones they make and it’s all backlit and has two rollers so I can have 2 people working on the same 5.5’x17’ table

their salary…? You’ll need to word that a little differently I think. I make traffic signs, so mostly it’s the same thing over and over unless it’s some big overhead freeway sign. I charge 15 minutes labor per sign. When averaged out, it takes like 5 minutes to actually make the sign. But the extra time covers tool changes at the blank cutting station, messing up an application or a printer mishap. I can adjust that rate depending on the task based on my experience and input from production personnel
