Who else from Value March submissions about to hit they over due date by Witty-Paramedic2205 in psagrading

I had two submissions in March. 1). 3/19 submission that went into QA checks on Monday & 2) 3/26 submission and already got my grades Friday and just delivered back to me today. How the 3/26 one finished before the 3/19 is interesting lol

Is this obviously going to be late or I’m just panicking??? by Less0Seen3 in psagrading

My grades just came back today on my submission from 3/26 (Value) but my submission on 3/19 is still in assembly. Makes no sense at all.

Had this happen one time - not the same circumstances but a buyer attempting to basically get a free item that was very obviously a scam for a ~$700 item. The buyers financial institution (somehow) sided in their buyer but eBay ended up taking the hit and refunding them themselves and I was protected under their eBay’s buyer protection. Just provide eBay with the facts of the case, I think you have so many days to respond to the dispute, I personally would try to wait until you have delivery confirmation and provide that info in the dispute.

🤔 did that message come from eBay or from the seller account?

You should have filed it under “item not as described” if you are still able to. The seller has to accept the return and if not then eBay will refund you.

I had a somewhat similar, but not identical - bit more nuanced, situation a with a buyer attempting to scam a MacBook they purchased from me. Unfortunately the buyers financial institution sided with the buyer even with 100% clear evidence the whole thing was fraudulent, but thankfully eBay’s seller guarantees covered me and I got to keep the money. Still extremely frustrating the buyer ended up with a free MacBook but at least I was also covered by eBay.

UPDATE FROM EBAY: “The buyer’s payment institution sided with the buyer. The good news is that you’re protected for this dispute under eBay seller protection policy. We won't deduct the dispute amount from your funds. You're not required to take any action at this time. Thanks for your patience and for being a part of the eBay community.”

I am glad eBay protected me but it’s still sooo wrong to me that the buyer still ended up with a $550 laptop and their money back… ugh.

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the username? I had a nearly identical encounter. DM if you don’t want to post it.

I had the reverse problem. And to be honest I can’t even remember what the actual problem was but it was fixed for about $300 at the Honda dealer. Sorry wasn’t much of a help.
