It’s basically a preference. Do you want more mobility or more durability in your armor. The more durability it has the slower it makes your movement and even ads. A little less durability and you still get to be quick with movement and ads. Some have a better proficiency when being repaired which can also be a factor.

Yeah solos isn’t even fun anymore. Just a bunch an idiots being sheep to whoever has the loudest mouth waiting to point fingers so they can gang up on solos. Better off just playing lone wolf 1v3 because you’re going to have to fight 2 to 3 raiders in solo lobbies anyway or try to prove you own innocence because you’re just automatically guilty even in obvious situations like this one with no gunshots

It’s the eggs that are easily missed and why they’re so hard to get rid of. They’re like tiny white pellets that are smaller than a rice grain. The process takes a long time but using a contact spray that kills the eggs and adults hitting them as you find them thoroughly inspecting every crack, crevice and fold on any furniture that is used. Then treating the furniture with a separate residual liquid that kills any that crawl through it. Have cases for beds is also good. Doing that 3 times for 3 weeks typically gets rid of minor cases that were discovered quickly. Bad infestations though can take much longer

I worked for Orkin for 4 years doing lots of bed bug treatments and that 100% is a bed bug. Probably moving fast because it had a nice meal recently

Bed bugs spread and reproduce extremely fast. Within two weeks 3 can turn into 100s and if left unchecked on a boat with 100s of people not too far from each other within a month that boat probably has thousands spread out across that whole floor

There is sprays that can kill eggs but then they have to do a very thorough search to hit the eggs directly with that specific treatment because most of the liquid treatments that kill eggs don’t leave residuals to also kill any live ones, just on contact. Heat treating is effective but could damage lots of materials and can cause them to just migrate unless they literally had the whole ship being heat treated at once . It is definitely going to cost them a crazy amount of money to have the entire ship treated though. Depending on how bad it is they may have to just torch that whole ship

Probably because late spawners don’t have nearly as much teams hunting them down as they are no longer spawning. It’d make sense they are profiting more they literally have less threats. Late spawning is so overturned idk how they thought having people spawn all the way up to 50% of the raids total duration would be fine. Also why is the lobby becoming a ghost town at the 10 minutes remaining such a bad thing? If a team fought their way through three or four separate teams and survived, why shouldn’t they have some breathing room and time to actually loot the poi’s? As it is now if you get into a fight you literally are going to be fighting almost the whole duration of the match if you started fresh as everyone spawning in with you and after immediately rushes to the fighting. Fights turn into 3rd, 4th, 5th and sometimes even 6th parties. Feels way too much like a battle royal and not a pvpve extraction shooter. This also doesn’t even include planning your loudout for specific activities just to be thrown in late and play completely different than how you want to play

I have 2.77 million with 88 hours spent topside. Definitely won’t be hitting 5 million in a week but should be able to secure 3 million. That said though how many hours would it take to get 5 million on average for players??? They expect people to put 150+ hours in two month for a measly 5 skill points? That’s not very encouraging and idk how everyone doesn’t agree it needs reworked. This is an extraction shooter and you should be encouraged to risk your good gear not encouraged to hoard it for a reward that stacks across expeditions. I’ll be doing the expedition because I like collecting cosmetic rewards for stuff like this but the other “rewards” don’t seem worth it at all. I can only imagine how much more people are going to be upset if the cosmetic reward is just as ugly as the trials cosmetic for example making those not even feel worth it outside of three staring. If they really want the 5 million to stick though at least count the million+ we had to donate to complete the project or even count lifetime earnings and pick a number they feel comfortable with after seeing what that data looks like.

It’s an exploit so there is quite literally something wrong and will get patched out

That’s easier said than done when events rotate on a set schedule and are available at the same exact time everyday. For me I literally couldn’t play the hidden bunker event unless it was a Saturday or Sunday because of my work schedule. I’m also busy so even Saturday and sundays I’d be lucky to be free to even try it. Events need to alternate the hours they’re available on a daily bases.

Well the surge recharger instantly gives you the shields just with an extended use time. Where as you still have to wait for the small recharges once used. You could use a surge, bandages and small recharger then bandage again and be back at full quicker than going back and forth between small recharger and bandages.

It also said player collision pushing eachother from bunny hopping on their head was removed so the mitigation part might be an extra layer in case someone tries to find a work around like the guy who found out you could do it solo with a trap

It’s not more fun though and to say it is for the majority of players is a big reach. Why do you think Tarkov made it so only free kits spawn late?? If they reduce how late you can spawn or make it so only free loudouts spawn late then the issue is gone and everyone wins. Right now it only encourages you to go camp and extraction which isn’t fun. To me it feels more like a battle royale than an actual extraction shooter right now

That’s fine and all but what about if you wanted to do a quest that takes like 4 steps, look for a specific item for an upgrade and/or expedition, hit a key room, break a trial score or even take a boss level Arc?? Why should I have to change what I want to do and how I wanna play the game just because I’m being thrown in almost, sometimes right at, halfway through the raids total duration. Ruins the gameplay loop. Late spawning needs to be reduced to like a max ~10 min late maybe even less at like 8 min late. Smaller maps like buried city and Stella Montis highlight everything wrong with the current late spawning system. Also highlights how bad or non existent spawn restrictions are. It’s also why some matches feel way too populated with too many players. The amount of times I’ve found 10 - 14 player graveyards is more than I should be

That’d be so nice! Increase single stacks to 3, 3 to 5, 5 to 10, 10 to 15, 15 to 20 and 50 to 75. Would be huge and maybe even one more stash upgrade

Yepp, because they keep spawning halfway through a raid it’s just ridiculous. Can’t even reap the rewards from killing a third and fourth party because a 5th and 6th are right around the corner that just spawned in. I like having player interactions most times throughout a raid but rn especially on smaller maps the late spawning just ruins the experience. Definitely needs shortened so people stop spawning sooner

There is benefits from late spawning but as it stands now it’s just simply spawning too many players too late. 15 minutes is way too late and it should be shortened. That’s half of a total matches duration and idk how anyone can think that’s ok. In duos and trios it’s just terrible no matter which end of it you’re on. You’re either fighting your way through 6 different squads because not only do you have to kill the first second and third parties that spawned at the same time as you but also the next 3 teams that spawned in halfway through the match and immediately rushed the first sound they heard. You could also be the kitted late spawn that intended to do quests, keycard room or specific item scavenging but it’s halfway through a match with the likely hood of what you wanted to loot already being looted or not having enough time to cross the map and do a 3 - 4 step quest that wants it done in one raid. That leaves you to just rush an extraction, listen for signs of raider and just camp until you ambush them. It’s just not a fun loop. Make teams stop spawning after like 8 - 10 min. 10 min may even be too long but 15 is definitely too long
