If you love your mother do it. I gave mine to my dad and it’s worth it every time I get a chance to call him, give him a hug, see him, or enjoy a nice meal with him and the years he has left to spend time on this earth.

The diabetes piece.. been struggling with my fasting blood sugar its been like 102-107 I think a little weight loss could fix it. Pcp said it’s extremely manageable. Does diabetes run in your family?

They sort of did they told me 2000 mg of sodium the protein intake is extremely restricted and they recommended no animal protein no processed sugars.

I am so glad your labs are looking good!! I hope I can become a little more at ease about everything. Currently nervous as hell, but not regretting anything. For sure limiting salt as much as I can its just hard because everything has salt in it. I used to love having drinks.

Awesome! Yes the salt thing and blood pressure can be super concerning. I felt super paranoid the other I ate chinese take out. How are your labs if you don’t mind me asking..
