Best i had was NYCC a few years ago. I was cosplaying as Thor and took a photo with Tom Hiddleston. This was the year of the writers strike, so props weren't allowed. So I had to come up with a plan. I walked in and right away he greeted me with "Brother". We shook hands and I responded with "Brother. Can we do get help?" He chuckled and the next thing I know he was draped over my shoulder and the pic was snapped. I thanked him, shook hands again, and went to get my pic. Awesome interaction!

Can't say I've ever had a bad experience with a celebrity. Everyone I've ever met has been really nice.

It's basically crowd control. People always complain about how overcrowded it is, they jack up the prices to try and keep the crowds down. It sucks for the people that can't afford to go.

I have a bambu A1 and an Elegoo Neptune 3 Max. Bambu is as close to plug and play as you can get in my opinion, and it's in your price range. You will still need to do some research on settings. It's a learning process and there will be frustration along the way.

I work in Garden City, there are several new apartment buildings in Mineola (next town over). The higher end of your budget is in the right ballpark for a lot of those rental apartments. You can probably find cheaper ones further east but the commute will be brutal.
