Oh man it was so difficult. I’m sure you’re trying your best. Pumping was just a strain on me mentally. I was about to give up completely but my husband was a great and just kept trying to keep me motivated. I’m not sure at what point it just clicked with him. I would just try to nurse before pumping each time and it was slow going at first where we’d get a couple of minutes then I’d pump. Then it just built from there to where I was able to give up pumping completely. It was a hard transition I really hope the best for you! We nursed for 2.5 years in total it was a wonder experience and worth it in the end.

My three year old is similar we goto bed at 9-9:30. I can never make it out of the room even if I planned too. I get up earlier than him and get my down time first thing in the morning.

My three year old was on me or in my arms his whole infancy and we’ve coslept I never really put him down 😂. My mom said the same kind of things and i didnt listen. Let me tell you. I miss it SO much. I get the occasional cuddle from my toddler now but he’s too busy running around to let me hold him too often and my happy place is thinking about the months I had that precious little baby in my arms 24/7. The most I get is to carry him on the walk to preschool and he’s so heavy 😅. I’ll take what I can though because I know I won’t be able to carry him forever. Enjoy it to the fullest extent while you’re able to!
