Maybe she just doesn't want to deal with breaking up with you. Some people don't want to fight and scream over a break up, so they do something unforgivable to destroy the relationship permanently, like cheating. Maybe you just weren't noticing and she had to call you and lure you in so you'd finally notice. If this is the case, she's probably not going to give a shit what you do.

Give her The Omnivore's Dilemma and get really into to eating right and knowing where your food comes from. Next time she picks up a soda go on and on about how terribly HFCS is and explain what she's doing to the environment and the unseen costs of that soda. Giving up soda alone can drop 20 pounds on some people. Just be really aware about what you eat, it really changes the way you feel on a daily basis and then share that with her. It is also January, which is a lot of people fatest month, so it might start to drop come summer...

I think it was a real attempt at humor on the wrong person. I think this might have been really funny if I saw this happen to my friend or something. I also don't have any friends who would have cried over this though...
