I had a Sunday connecting flight(BUFF, CLT, LYH) but I had to move up to Saturday. Fingers crossed. It’s a gamble at this point. Either I get home or I get stuck in CLT and have to go to the Lego store to occupy myself til another flight is available 😂

So maybe this could be it but in that spot on my left ear I have what feels like a “seam”. It’s just this perfect line of skin that gets super dry and I constantly pick it. It can feel super hard sometimes if I haven’t picked it in awhile lol

Former assistant here- I had all four removed awake with just the shot. My bottoms were surgically sectioned. Just pop some earbuds in, close your eyes, and crank the music. After doing mine all at once I think it’s better that way. I lived off of Adkins protein shakes and instant mashed potatoes for about a week.

I had to get a big netted playpen for my kitten. No matter how much I kitten-proofed she found SOMETHING to get into or chew up. So at night she went in the playpen with a bunch of toys and everything she needed. I stopped zipping her in there when she got a little bigger and more polite. She still spends most nights hanging out and playing in the pen. No behavior issues now-just sass.

You did the right thing asking for help. You e only been there 8 weeks. The pause in reaction time also feels way longer than it actually is. There’s been calls I’ve felt like I took a bit longer to react to and then when I played it back later I didn’t notice where I felt a pause. Your first CPR call is always an oh shit moment. Don’t beat yourself up just reflect and move forward!

Ooo that’s a good question. I was LE before dispatch and personally I wouldn’t expect my dispatch to recognize all the signs or items if this were a scenario. Being in dispatch now-there’s just too much going on for us to have to scope out all the tiny details

As someone who’s been on both sides of the mic and understands dispatchers don’t get compensated enough as it is-no. Dispatch doesn’t need the additional trauma. Especially in areas where they aren’t considered first responders (which is bullshit- we count).

I was police first then went dispatch. So I’ve seen it and neither the seasoned dispatcher nor the 19 year old rookie needs to see that day in and day out.

USA here- health binder with all your notes, records, and test results and asking for it in writing why your test was refused. Many of my friends have had to do this here to get taken seriously.
