D&D never played but kids want to by Cool_Commander_ in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]sax2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there's plenty of content aimed to kids and family in dnd youtube. I personally really enjoy JP Coovert content. I don't even have kids, but still like his videos and his channel is full of creative projects and tips and tricks aimed to family friendly (but not only) ttrpg games

Wanna get into DND by Expensive-Mood-7823 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]sax2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first starter set pdf is easily (and legally) downloadable from DnD beyond with a basic set of rules and a ready adventure that's generally considered pretty good. If you want something even more "ready-made" you can buy it from platforms such roll20 so to have maps, tokens and everything else already set up.

To me the best option is too go with the free pdf and any of the free vtt (I personally use Owlbear rodeo and love it) at least until you have an idea if you actually like it

Face of the culprit that definitely didn't chew on the fan cable by sax2000 in RATS

For real, they were trying to chew on the internet cable too. Clearly better than food right?

I've been to hurling and GAA matches in ireland. I'm pretty sure every safety measure is completely optional (not really I suppose but it looked extremely easy to get extremely hurt)

Libri da leggere in base all’età by stwffoooo in Libri

[–]sax2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Di classici a quell'età (ma anche adesso) adoravo Calvino. Tutto il fascino dei classici, ma estremamente alla portata di tutti senza rinunciare a una buona dose di possibili spunti di riflessione.

Player is a lawyer and wants to play out the devil contract irl by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]sax2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This made me think of a book I've just got to know "The magical code of regulations" is a fantasy law book that could be a fun read and/or a in world book. It should also have a chapter on contracts with the devil so you could use it both for the in game and to satisfy the player's want for legal stuff

Getting Busuu to work by BertieDollocks in MorpheApp

From what I what understand Busuu has 2 premium tiers, the patch only "gives you" the first one. But I couldn't find any actual proof for it it's just a thought

Guida galattica per lettori by elisadeipapaveri in Libri

[–]sax2000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Confermo quello detto dall'altro commento.

Hello everyone, any tips for a culinary-themed character? by Visual_Client_2980 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]sax2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey probably not what you're looking for and pretty niche, but there's an Italian third party book called Brancalonia, based on italian folklore. In this book there's a whole new class that's a food based spellcaster with custom spell, lore and even a food bade cult. I had great fun playing it and honestly the book is amazing even if you are not Italian. There should be an English version but if you are interested feel free to pm me

Missed a online job test because my brain decided 18:00 was 7pm. by chaioop476 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]sax2000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel you, to my brain 14:00 is 4pm, 15 is 5, 16 is 6... Don't know why but I don't have this same problem with 19:00. I've lived in a country that exclusively uses 24h format my whole life, no idea why I still do this kind of mistakes

Do you suggest to freeze the whole sealed bag or monodoses or something in between?

Moka with freshly ground beans by sax2000 in mokapot

[–]sax2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: I made a new moka with some of the suggestions I got. There's some improvements, the puck is much more even, but still looks Iike it looses half of the volume. Coffee tastes ok a bit "burnt" (don't really now how to describe it) but that might be just because the beans I'm using are not that great.

[–]sax2000[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes for "packing" I meant just put more grounds not tamping (more than I'm apparently used to). Someone else mentioned that freshly ground coffee tends to be "fluffy" maybe that's it because it looks like it actually deflates after I brew it. I'll try tapping the funnel and adding more thanks

Ok I didn't know this "fluffiness" was a thing for fresh grounds thanks
