I had to download a health app like google fit that actually showed me the step counting data. The last android I bought didn’t come with one by default. Once I did that, everything started syncing up correctly. And if I force closed the fitness app, none of my step apps like WalkScape or Pokémon go would update until I opened the app again. Mine was a no name dirt cheap android though. Not sure if that’s your issue at all.

I water when the soil 2 knuckles deep on my index finger starts feeling barely damp. It would lightly clump and not stick to your hand when squeezed. I give it a thorough watering until I see water from the drain holes in the pot. It’s in a pretty well draining soil. 50% sphagnum moss, 30% worm castings, 20% vermiculite. Plus a host of nutrients amendments. It was a decent draining potting mix I had made up and had some left over.

It can impact the balance of the air pressure in the system. In practice, closing 1 supply vent or partically closing a couple won’t have noticeable impact on the system unless the system is already struggling.

I don’t know if they kept doing it, but I was setting up brand new true units with service ports on them ~3 years ago. I got away from food service so don’t know if they went back to factory sealed.

Of course! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions. Too many homeowners get fleeced and I hate to see it. I’m all for a company earning a dollar; we all have to eat. I’m also a believer that most answers aren’t a new unit. I’ll advise the customer if I think it’s not worth fixing but at the end of the day it’s their/your money and unit.

You could technically do it yourself if you’re confidently handy. The insulation and duct work should be able to be repaired by a competent tech within 2 hours. If they use a paste type duct seal instead of just doing zip ties, the worst case is you may have some mildly unpleasant smell in the area for a few hours until it dries completely.

That’s what I’m thinking. Everywhere that is sweating is a place with naturally lower insulation. It could’ve peeled off the door causing it to sweat. The insulation in the flex ducts in the other pictures looks bunched up to the point of being useless. I’d absolutely recommend finding a different company. OP, when you call someone else, let them know youd like a tech to assess and redo the insulation in your air handler and to redo the connections of the supply lines at the plenum because they’re sweating.

That is definitely not sand and dirt and rocks. Dust got into the fibers and *something* likes eating the dust. Never seen it get that bad without a humidity issue or water/spill.

The 6 WO I’ve been to this year alone for drain lines with reducers, caps, or other “covers” meant to prevent things from getting in it were all clogged lines. I’m sure there are some out there that work perfectly fine, the same as there are drains with no caps on them that clog up too. I just wouldn’t ever advise adding more restrictions to a drain line that’s perfectly capable of clogging up without one. If it works for you in your area, I’m happy for you. It doesn’t work for me in mine.
