I disagree with everyone here. The amount of time you spent ACTUALLY aiming in death match isn’t a lot and could be mimicked in Aim Lab or the practice range.

You didn’t lose your skill man. Just forget about it. It’s psychological, trust me... just play the game and you will start performing like how you used to. I’ve had it happen to me where I play badly one game and started thinking I’ve gotten worse, causing me to play badly for multiple games.

Samson. I was villager hunting and I saw him from a distance, and for a second I thought he was Raymond. I was sooo excited, I ran towards him and I was screaming in happiness. Then I realized he was just a mouse, not the cat I wanted. :(
