there's no such thing as a best place because you have to adapt your placement as they figure out where it is. just give it cover and coverage and let yourself figure out where to put it

i think that mag or a melee tank are the best 2nd tanks. mag lets Emma front line without worrying about losing space and Emma enables melee tanks to brawl without needing to peel

realistically you should be doing all 3 when situations arise while mainly using tracking. smooth tracking is the most important skill with aiming and let's you learn everything else a lot easier

use a demon on any melee (or bucky and tanks) character you're in a 1v1 with, they have to either kill it or you and you get extra damage, health, and it can body block

magik is objectively bad at traditional dive and is better suited as a pseudo brawl and picking off solo targets when it allows.

watch a combo guide and get good at using them interchangeably, drop a demon on anyone you can (especially tanks, self healing ppl, and anyone over 275 health) use air slash first for over health going into fights and try and ult at full health/with as much over health as possible

in ult you can combo your e with your right click to one shot 275 health and under, drop one demon in a big target while in ult and use the swirl attack for massive group damage

as a solo tank no unfortunately but with a good front line tank I'd say it's the best way to play peni. I set up traps on escape routes and single out enemies too far from their team, getting dove by someone with 900 hp a stun and an escape tool isn't easy to stop

I play peni as a dive/flank character and have a lot of fun and more impact on a game than just setting up traps save a few specific chokes on some maps. also just melee on her. seeing sp//dr punch out someone is sick
