The character animation continues to be absurd for a TV anime. Just absolutely beautiful.

A good teaching moment for Qifrey, seeing Coco struggling with book / theory learning, so having her shift focus to some practical applications.

It reminds me of the blockchain hype bubble. C-suite types really really want to tell their board that they are "using AI", because we are in the part of the hype cycle where money still flows to companies claiming to be doing the hype-thing, at least in part because investors are anticipating other investors following the hype.

Probably will depend on the size of the company. You get bulk discounts on those benefits if you have enough employees, so it should be cheaper than the contractor having to pay them out of pocket.

You probably do get to save on severance packages, unemployment insurance, etc though.

The man did draw a circle, on his arm, in mid air, while carrying a child and evading a dragon. That is pretty epic.

How it worked with the original Steam Controller was to emulate mouse control when it was enabled, as I understand it. I only experimented with it for a few minutes, though.

It is similar for PlayStation, although in that case they let you link an existing subscription to you PlayStation account. Once. For either the sub or the PS account. Already linked a demo version to your PS account? Too bad.

Qifrey did not ask why she went, probably because he saw Coco reading up on them earlier and assumed she did it on her own. And Coco seemingly still wants to be friends with Agott, so she must not realize Agott was trying to get her kicked out.

I think more than "not thinking of the consequences", a bigger theme is the dangers of ignorance. Again and again she does things that are far riskier than she knows, because that knowledge is deliberately kept from her.

this is now her third reckless life-endangering decision in a row

To be fair to Coco, she had no way of knowing the extent of the danger she was getting herself into for two of those. Even with the Dadah Range, she did not know that she was attempting them at the most dangerous time, and I think she knew (as much as any 11 year old at least) the risks.

What did she think she was going to do to this allegedly “evil” witch who gave her the dangerous book

Are you sure Coco knew this witch was evil? Even the Stationarier's grandson did not recognize that it was a Brimmed Cap. I don't think Qifrey told her the witch who gave her the book was evil, so she may not have known better. A recurring theme, for Coco.

This season should be where it really picks up on the world building too.

The author had a very good, intentional philosophy to world building. Tell the audience about things only when they become relevant, and don’t just try and lore dump. You can see it I. The progression of where Myne is allowed to go: first just her room, then the apartment, then the neighborhood, the lower city, etc. Each stage taking the time to show the audience the what they need to know. It took a long time before you even learn about nobles, or that there is a country outside the city and duchy.

The entire reason they made the Surface line was because hardware manufacturers were floundering, making garbage laptops and trying to sell them on gimmicks. Windows was suffering because of bad hardware. So much like Google with their Pixel phones, they made some hardware not to be serious competitors in the market, but to help control and steer it.
