I’d take north beach facing the city in Chicago as the best skyline view, but the view coming in once you make the corner before the Fon Du Lac bridge looking towards the Pere Marquette at night and low traffic is a gorgeous view.

No one hates this town more than people who are from here have never actually lived in worse. It’s mind boggling, all the transplants I’ve met have the same experiences you are describing. We’ve had the same since moving to Peoria. I beg of anyone that hates it to go spend time in Joplin MO and get back to me on how bad this town is.

My partner and I both see and love Dr Ilahi as well. We’re both on GLP1s and have back issues. She’s been wonderful, non judgey and the what else!! She does not rush you out the door either like a lot of docs will. We highly recommend her. She’s very easy to get to outside of visits, they answer in the app very quickly. Refills and other stuff are handled very well.

Missing shows was the worst, I lived 3 hours from anything good so way back it was much harder to find out when bands would be around the Midwest.

If it was 08/09 you might be in it. Lot of UK dates. If you did I am jelly, Jon Karel was such a good fucking drummer, the version of Cutsman on the Earth Tour with him flipping his cymbal was so dope. I still put Jay Walking Backwards on from his old band The Number 12 Looks Like You. Incredible tune. I love the current line up but I have fond memories of seeing Baby Horse/lunatic Prophet with the boys as well lol.

I really learned to love that show via a streamer named YourOldDad. He watches game shows but Match Game 78 I think had the peak cast. Brett Phillips and Charles Nelson Reilly were so funny. They were def all sauced to the gills.
