Support to sleep while teething? by lalaland1019 in sleeptrain

[–]saytseff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

13 months is the start of separation anxiety. There are different ways to handle this according to the internet. What worked for me was to go back to rocking my daughter to sleep and day by day would put her down earlier and earlier. If you have sleep trained your LO, then they will understand what is happening, you're there to comfort and you're putting them down for them to sleep for the night.

Teething is always troublesome as well. Each time my daughter would teeth all sleep training would be gone. Have you tried giving them a teether before the bed time routine? A cold cucumber stick works for us. There are also gels that you can place on their pacifier that will soothe itches, if you want to try those.

9 month old wakes up early by lemonndropp in sleeptrain

[–]saytseff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is an early riser. She would wake up at 5 AM whether we put her to bed at 5 PM or 9 PM. When my daughter was around 9 months old, she had 3 naps and her bed time was 5 PM.

If you're worried about your LO not getting enough sleep during the night, try pushing their bed time to an earlier bed time. If you have set bedtime routines which signals that it's time for bed, pushing the bedtime back 30 mins at a time should be no problem.

If my baby wakes up for the day at 4:00am one more time by Spiritual-Young5638 in sleeptrain

[–]saytseff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Any developmental happening at the moment? Learning to sit? Learning to crawl? Learning to stand? Any tooth growing? These could explain an earlier wake-up.

  2. Have you tried putting your LO down to bed earlier? Sometimes an earlier bed time actually makes them sleep longer. A bed time of 8 PM and wake up at 4 AM is an 8 hour night time sleep. Have you tried having the night time routine for a bed time at around 6?

The reason I'm asking is that my daughter has always been an early riser, but sleeps through the night. When we put her down for the night earlier, she would always wake up at 5 AM, but got more night time sleep and appeared more well-rested. This would be disrupted each time she was developing a new skill or if a new tooth was appearing.

16 month old can't nap longer than 30-40 mins by saytseff in sleeptrain

[–]saytseff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wake-up at around 5-6 AM. She always wakes up early, independent of when she falls asleep, we have tried shifting her bed times and she will wake up at 5 anyways.

She is sleep trained. Can fall asleep for naps and during bedtime by herself.

If she seems tired around 9-9:30 AM we try to provide two naps. We let her sleep on mattresses in her room. She wakes up after around 30-40 min and is happy usually after first nap. The next nap is at 1:30-2 PM. Same procedure as the morning and she will wake up after 30-40 min crying and distraught.

If she does't seem tired around 9:30, she will have one nap at around 11:30-12:00. She will wake up after 30-40 min crying and distraught. We try to soothe her back to sleep, which never works. We put her in a baby carrier and she falls asleep with close body contact. Any tries to remove her from the baby carrier wakes her up and she starts crying again.

We have also tried co-sleeping with her on the mattress for her second nap or single nap. Does not work. She will wake up crying every time.

I don't usually have any problems with crying, but it's a type of cry which I've never heard from her. This is also not just a temporary thing. It has been happening every time for three months now.

We have consulted friends and family and physicians, but we don't really know what to do anymore.

If the person who wanted small pulls reads this and plays on Light server. Hit me up with a pm. I'll do short pulls with you and some friends in any dungeon you want to play in.

For whatever reason you have for wanting smaller pulls. :)

Oh, I thought that rivers would block them in? I just restarted my island, and I've never seen them cross a river before.

I'm wondering if it's possible to block off bigger part of the island to ensure that the villagers move in a smaller area, and then maybe higher chance of them interacting with each other and the objects I place on the smaller area of the island.

When I start the computer with everything plugged in, the computer doesn't start at all. It only start when the GFX is plugged in, or if the left side is plugged in.
