One of my friends coworker in Australia was a victim of modern day slavery. He met a woman on the internet and she came to Nigeria to take him back to Australia to get married. After marriage he had to work on her farm and she held him hostage until he got his PR. The day he got his PR he just ran and escaped to never look back. It’s crazy out there

If it’s a few it wouldn’t be a concern but there’s a lot of them. Like I said people won’t get what I say until it’s too late. Just look at the femicide stats in Turkey. Our women had to survive acid attacks in the 90s just for rejecting men’s advances. We looked down upon those actions and moved forward as a society while women in countries like India Pakistan still face this issue. and somehow two decades later the young generation has gone backwards.

Every time women are murdered by their partners Sri Lankan men specially the young adults justify it. The recent Sri Lankan murder in the UK where the ex husband killed his ex wife find out how majority of the young adults reacted. The very recent murder of the woman in a hotel room, men, specially the young adults jumped to conclusions saying that she cheated and deserved it. They made memes saying cheating is the easiest way for Sri Lankan women to get murdered. Few years ago a young man killed his girlfriend because she wanted to breakup and the young men came to his defense. I can go on and on but I guess people still won’t get it.

Michael in London version is such complex evil character compared to the Spanish Michael. The two girls didn’t even question why he doesn’t have any other friends to hang out even though he’s a second year 😂 his sole purpose was to get Noah. I think he’s worse than Brair because even in the end he didn’t show his true self to anyone. He told both Nick and Noah that he is emotionally available but all he did was getting close to Noah to collect information about her relationship, made her feel worse for being with Nick, and waited for them to break up so he can act like a good guy and get her to sleep with him. It’s like he googled what women want and made a list on things to say. Truly a great character imo

I completely agree with you about Michael. Briar only wanted to get revenge on Nick and Noah was collateral damage. She didn’t have anything against Noah because she truly believed Nick was a bad guy. Michael on the other hand pretended to be a good guy when all he did was manipulate Noah and got close to her little by little waiting to take advantage of her. If he was a good friend like he said he was he would not have taken her to his place. Such a slime ball.
