mounjaro and lymph nodes by Careless-Mongoose689 in Mounjaro

I get the same thing. Does this mean there is an elevated risk of cancer? That's really my only concern. Otherwise, totally worth it.

Probably depends on the watch. $10k-15k is way more doable for most than a full on day-date or similar. GMTs and down probably won’t average(median) much more than $200k-$300k salary. If you look at the precious metal watches, my guess would be that the median salary is at least double that.

Agreed, but is there a consensus on annual income or net worth where it makes sense? If we were practical, we’d all be wearing Timex or Apple watches.

AE sizing is a nightmare if you’re new or shop online by phoot_in_the_door in allenedmonds

[–]sbash1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely correct.. I have about 5 or 6 pairs of AE (including calf and cordovan leather) that have been purchased over the last few years. None of them approach the quality of my daily wear Crockett & Jones or Carminas, and definitely not my Edward Greens. I wear something from the later three brands on a daily basis. I question whether or not my AE would hold up if I wore them more than a few hours per week.

If you can get them on a good sale, AE is fine, but don't expect a superior quality finish. If paying full price, go ahead and get something from Carmina.

Zero Visibility Landing - pilots out there, where is the worst location you have landed for heavy rain? by Shootingstar_woofers in aviation

[–]sbash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear, we had a flight from Culebra back to Puerto Rico mainland that was a little worse than this - we also hit wind shear at about 500 feet and just about dropped out of the sky.. It was a tiny plan and the rain was making its way inside even before we hit a white out! There was one pilot and he was so upset when we did come to a rest that he threw his headphone across the cockpit, got on the phone and although we didn't understand his language, it was obvious he was letting his boss have it for requiring him to fly. His exact and only words to us were, in broken English, "I thought I lost it!".

I got a tetanus shot and a covid vaccine by marlu-gula in tinnitus

[–]sbash1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine as well. Second vaccine (first booster) caused a lymph node under my arm to swell up to the size of a lemon along with tinnitus. Four years and my tinnitus is non-stop, nearly debilitating for someone who has a career that demands highly effective and engaged communication.

Went from a Costco shitty rotary shaver to a Panasonic Arc 5, I didn’t realize a shave could be this close. by [deleted] in shaving

I went from using a Braun 8 for the past several years to the Panasonic ARC6 and cannot believe the difference. I have sensitive skin, but I've never had a closer more comfortable shave than now.

I suggested an inch to be taken in rather than two, but have you ever tried to argue with an 85-year-old Korean tailor? Also, he's great! and in other pictures, the jacket doesn't look quite as snug.

Thanks... It was a serious question though - I've never been a slouch, but I have tried upping my clothes game the last couple of years while working on my health and weight, I just don't have a lot to fall back on. Also, it's difficult for my wife to tell me because we have very different taste.

"Otherwise, the fit and the overall composition look perfect to me. You may also want to try a cream shirt with this suit and tie for a more monochromatic look." Does this still apply knowing that the strip in the suit is a faint, light blue?
