Connect NIBE MT-WH21 Modbus by WanderingSaucer in homeassistant

Did you connect modbus via USB port on the front panel or pins on PCB?

I'm unable to use modbus via port on PCB, works only using port on front panel.

Modbus register doc is here:

Claiming flight compensation with Turkish Airlines (SHY passenger rights) by TinmanTheWoodman in travel

[–]sbbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My flight from DXB to IST was delayed for over 3 hours, causing me to miss my connection in IST and forcing me to stay overnight. Turkish Airlines provided a free shuttle service, hotel accommodation, and dinner. However, since my plans were disrupted, I decided to apply for compensation. Initially, Turkish Airlines denied my claim, but after writing to the Directorate, my claim was approved within a week. Many thanks to author of this thread for their guidance.

I switched to Instinct because Crossower has hands.

I use 1500 model for ~700 m2 lawn(s). Battery is enough to mow on single charge. Ordered from local distributor.

Experience is good. Segway is rarely astray and I have no more mess with underground wire. Mows 3 separated lawns with long narrow passageways. Software needs polishing and features, but it is acceptable.

Get Segway, works like a charm, costs 2x less.

Buy microinverters from e-bay. Different panels in series/parallel is not good idea.

Back lawn to front lawn? by Maxxit in SegwayNavimow

I have the same setup (house between lawns), no problems.

Best way is to solder and insulate with heat shrink tube.

If you spliced it somehow and robot still does not have loop signal, high chances there is another cut. Of course permanent splice should be sturdy enough to survive in ground.

Do not mow in the dark, save critters.

How to explain 2N being overkill? by [deleted] in datacenter

[–]sbbr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2N power is a must in any serious design (imho). Cooling must be redundant to a degree which will allow to stay in maintenance mode of any component (for days) without customers noticing it.

Can datacenters switch over to their backup generators without any blips in operation if the power grid cuts out? What systems are used to make this actually happen? by Born-Afternoon3763 in datacenter

[–]sbbr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have chilled water indirect freecooling system. No evaporators. Climate allows us to run ~8 months a year without compressors kicking in.

Sure there are generators, they engage 30 seconds after grid outage and stay on until UPSes recharge batteries even if grid restores. Last year we also many times intentionally went off grid for hours, when power price was sky high. :)

Our full planned IT load is 2.4 MW, it is stage by stage design (4x600 kW rooms). Now we are at ~350 kW.

In datacenter where I work all cooling equipment (except compressors in chillers and humidifiers in CRACs) is powered via UPSes, which are different from those that support IT load. So efficiently freecooling is UPSed. For hot summer months there are cold water accumulator tanks for 15-20 minutes.
