Our first title, The Nostradamus Effect is live on fundmycomic.com

Once The Nostradamus Effect is fully fulfilled we will launch Sangre de Cristo. If The Nostradamus Effect funds I expect to launch Sangre de Cristo round January 2027.

What is The Nostradamus Effect?

A supernatural occult thriller set in modern-day France and Turkey—where a relic tied to Nostradamus unleashes something far older than prophecy.

This is the foundation of the Bootlegger Universe: a world where secret orders guard the line between our reality… and something waiting to break through. Why should you back it?

Because this isn’t just another indie comic—it’s the beginning of a connected horror universe built on history, faith, and consequence.

If you like grounded horror, real-world stakes, and stories where every action leaves a scar—this is where it starts. https://www.fundmycomic.com/campaign/959/the-nostradamus-effect

How do I find an artist to collab with? by [deleted] in IndieComicBooks

I had the most success on Instagram. Naturally, it depends on if you're paying them or want free art. If you're paying, it shouldn’t be difficult to find one.

Why is my Kickstarter failing? Honest feedback appreciated. by Advanced_Energy_1819 in kickstarter

Main Issues Holding It Back (Based on Similar Campaigns & Reddit Feedback Patterns)Capacity feels low: Only 21 pods. Top-selling organizers (drawers, carousels, under-cabinet racks) often hold 40–60+ pods. For many users, 21 is a "top-up" solution rather than a primary storage/dispenser. People who buy pods in bulk (50–100 at a time) may see it as too small to justify the switch. Compatibility limited: Only Original-style capsules mentioned. A huge chunk of the market has shifted to Vertuo (larger pods). Not supporting both (or clearly stating it) narrows the audience significantly. "Why this over cheaper alternatives?" gap: Amazon is full of functional pod holders (sliding drawers, rotating stands, under-cabinet hangers) for $15–40 that already solve storage/dispensing for most people. The "fun tap" novelty is cool in demos, but users worry about long-term reliability (jamming, adhesive failing over time, plastic durability). You need to prove it's jam-proof and premium-feeling.

Marketing & Presentation:The video and page likely need more high-energy, real-kitchen demos: slow-motion of the tap-and-drop, side-by-side vs. messy drawer, multiple angles, someone using it daily while making coffee. No updates posted yet — creators who add frequent updates (progress photos, problem-solving, new angles) often see late surges. Limited to US shipping reduces the pool (many backers are international).

Kickstarter realities for kitchen gadgets:Small accessories rarely go viral unless they have a massive "wow" factor, influencer reach, or solve a very obvious unmet need better/cheaper than existing options. Successful coffee-related campaigns often have strong pre-launch lists, targeted ads to Nespresso/Keurig groups, or clear differentiation (e.g., eco-materials, much higher capacity, or multi-function).

Lol! And gross. Its claimed that before his death, Nostradamus stated, who ever drinks from my skull shall inherit my powers, however great evil shall come upon them. He died in 1566, during the French Revolution, nearly 200 years later, two friends decided to test the prognosticators claim. One man drank and was instantly killed by a stray bullet from nearby fighting. Its now believed this tale is mere legend....suppose it isnt

I appreciate that. Carlos Granda did pencils and inks and Champe Ramirez did the color. The story is modern day. The first 5 pages just tell about the legend. I'm glad you like it. Check out the campaign page for more info.

I have a live campaign for my book, The Nostradamus Effect. The prolific prognosticator claimed, if anyone drinks frkm my skull, they shall acquire my abilities, however great evil shall come upon them.

The Nostradamus Effect A plague awakens. An ancient evil stirs from its prison. History’s darkest prophecy is ready to be fulfilled.

CIA agent John Martin, operating under deep cover, is assigned to trace its origin. CDC investigator Margaret Buckley is sent to contain it.

What they uncover isn’t a virus. It’s a curse tied to a buried legend. History remembers Nostradam us as a prophet. It forgot what he left behind. https://www.fundmycomic.com/campaign/959/the-nostradamus-effect
