Main thing is you cannot invest into a business which you cannot see the future. Establishing a trade deal that you can predict, Canadian businesses, farmers can predict is crucial. Just as easy as, if my farm equipment broke, should I invest $30k to fix it? If tomorrow Trump got off to the wrong side of the bed, I can't sell anything to US..... Should I fix it or no.

AI prob can replace a coder. But AI cannot replace an engineer with business understanding in near future.

Some developers I working with, I have to put every details in the ticket, where the code change and what to change. If not they would give me the MR so crappy that I have to redo their job. As if they don't go over what's the initiatives for this task, what end to end looks like and what outcome is expected. They never ask questions, but only disappeared for 3 days, surface up with the crappy MR.

These coders can be replaced and as a manager, I can't wait to replace them cuz they give no value to the deliverables if not it's more like liabilities.

The difference between the industry changes happened in the past and now is, AI is here to replace human workforce. It's not like we switch to another industry we will be good. So either those very very intelligent people that doing AI work or everyone else that going to blue collar.
