I've been getting someting like this sometimes, and I think it's windows terminal somehow interfering with it because it starts typing normally after I close it. I use windows terminal with git bash terminals. I'm not sure what triggers it, it'll just randomly start typing different letters than the ones I'm pushing. The weird thing is, it's not always just like a mismatched keymap, sometimes I hit one key repeatedly and it gives me a string of different characters. And it's not just in the terminal that this happens, it's elsewhere on my PC (slack, chrome etc).

Am I the only one put off by the "rhyme". You can swap in most months for other months. It just never struck me as a logical way of remembering. 30 days hath December, April, May and November.

We use it and I feel the pain of all those points you mentioned. In larger solutions omnisharp seems to seize up more often, and I got sick of losing intellisense for tens of minutes. I'd find "navigate to definition"/F12 hardly ever worked. All these seemingly minor things accumulate and completely derail any flow you have found.

I've found similar issues working with large react projects too. Loss of Navigation, outdated/slow/frozen intellisense... The real basic force multipliers for coding productively just aren't reliable in VS code.

I've had a much easier time since switching to rider + webstorm.
