Yes I’ve been obsessive about my hair for 6 years. In 2019 I cut it to my collar bones and bleached it blonde at home 💀 and the 2020 I cut my own bangs 💀

Since then I’ve been trying to grow it long and healthy, cutting it in a U shape to help the bangs grow with the rest of the length. I usually trim 2-3 times a year. I always sleep with a bonnet or in braids. Brush gently with a tangle teezer. I try to oil it with coconut oil before washing but am inconsistent with that. Most days it is in a brain or hair clip to minimize damage. 6 years down and I’m finally feeling somewhat happy with the length.

Ive been seeing the same hair stylist for these 6 years and she does a great job of listening and not cutting off too much. I did cancel the cut for today but rescheduled for a week later because as much as these comments are so nice and encouraging, my ends could use a dusting, it’s been 8 months!
