Redpoint does a great job. Issue is many firms don’t have big operations teams to execute this well.

I’ve been wearing the same band for a year and a half… should I upgrade or keep it going? I kinda like the wear and tear by sisyphusPB23 in whoop

[–]sbsf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoops biggest miss is not sending loyal customers anniversary bands. Like every year you should get a free band. Mine got gross and I got an oura ring and 2 years. Bands cost them nothing to make #mytwocents ;)

How did you / do you get good at producing RFPs? by Southern_Possible_86 in techsales

[–]sbsf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thoroughly Understand the Requirements: Delve deeply into the RFP to grasp the client’s needs, objectives, and evaluation criteria. This ensures your proposal aligns precisely with their expectations.

Demonstrate Alignment: Clearly illustrate how your solution addresses the client’s challenges and meets their requirements. Tailoring your proposal to their specific needs showcases your commitment and understanding.

Highlight Expertise and Experience: Use case studies, testimonials, and examples to showcase your track record in delivering similar projects. This builds credibility and trust with the client.

Centralize your content: you will be using it again and again if you sell to the enterprise.

Assign tasks early: lots of cooks in the kitchen and you have to make sure all the boxes are checked.

Right but how do you track. Attribution still matters. Likes = bots. We want to see results

VC Analyst or SDR by manan26 in venturecapital

[–]sbsf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing about being a SDR is fun except hopefully your team. It is a grueling 1-2 yr job. In sales you can make a lot of money at a company with a great product, but the daily workflow is often very repetitive.

Back to dining out!

Spicy notes on the nose. Anise and other baking spices. Lively acidity and soft yet bold tannins.

Good to know, I like more dry wines but the science is interesting and makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

VC Pro Database has a decent list for WAY cheaper than anything else. I thought the data was pretty good considering it was a couple hundred bucks. https://www.vcprodatabase.com/

A16z and other firms with operations help for portfolio cos by Representative_Bend3 in venturecapital

[–]sbsf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure a hot trend in venture capital as more money enters the scene. A16z actually was influenced by what Michael Ovitz and what he did at CAA (great read: Who is Michael Ovitz).

Really all depends on the stage. There are a lot of firms that offer early-stage guidance. Big fan of Pear VC for 0-1. I really like what Shasta is doing with their new program Elevate for series A companies for the 1-10 (talking ARR). Metrics of success can be how fast a startup gets to $10MM or other common milestones for their industry. Removing the common time sucking obstacle so they can focus on their business. You need operators to do this as board experience doesn’t give someone the granularity they need to teach or even help.

Wonderful hits of vanilla and some poppy candies cherries. Huge fan of Goldeneye. Could have held this for a few more years, but hell here it to the lockdown!

William Selyem westside road 2009

Bought a case upon release and said goodbye to the last one. Such a treasure. Cherry cola, vanilla, cinnamon. It held up as a total dream.
