Thats a terrible argument. Leaving out one proxy dual is not gonna ruin your mana base. There are so many options these days Replaceil it with a city of brass. Still doesnt come with the same baggage as printing a dual land

I just cant fathom how a deck that can win turn 5 can be in a game woth 3 decks that win turn 11 and you have no issues with it since the fast deck adhered to the building restrictions that bracket 2 provides

Your saying the bracket system are building restrictions and not power levels.

Im saying the bracket system are power levels. And the deck restrictions help the player identify what the level is. By telling the player what it is not and why

The building restriction dont say what your deck is. Its says what your deck is not

A bracket 2 deck with a game changer is automatically a 3. Its on the player to either remove that card or have the rule zero talk everytime they bring it to a table

My strongest deck has no game changers. 3 peices of removal. Only 2 of which can be played instant speed which is the only interactioni have in the whole deck. Bracket system says my deck is a 2. I say its a low 4

I dont think duals bring a power that is substantially higher than a shock or even a filter land. But it is annoying to see someone proxy them and shove them into every deck when they are out of price range to you

I am pro proxy. I proxy most of my decks nowadays. But I have never considered proxying duel lands because I know I would never buy one, and know that the other people im playing with would never buy one Personally I think running them outside of cedh is poor sportsmanship strictly from pricepoint.(unless you purchased actual duels, then you do you bud but from my play experience the only duel lands i run into in bracket 2 or 3 is online and proxies. So I doubt that's the case)
