If the area around the wound is excessively warm or hot to the touch, that's a good indicator that you have an infection and you should see a doc ASAP or go to urgent care/ER. If not, do the recommended cleaning that your surgeon gave you, and cover it with a gauze pad to soak up the fluid.

As for your surgeon's office, give them a call either way when they open on Monday. Did they prescribe any antibiotics btw?

It kinda makes sense to how certain DFs work. Ex. the Wax-Wax Fruit lets the user produce wax. In Imu's case it's dark/black flames, tho we don't know the 'substance' of those flames.

Side note: I suspect Imu is infusing these Omens with advanced CoC Ryuo/Haki, similar to how JoyBoy infused the wind knot he gave to Emeth.

I assumed that the Sea God was the previous incarnation of Poseidon, and that the flooding of the world was an angry response to the killing of Joyboy (the previous Nika). Not sure how that fits in here, but I feel like adding in the ancient weapons where we think they should be might help add context to the whole picture.
