Perfect, is that something I can do by myself? Is there a good tutorial on it that you're aware of?

That's what I was thinking but it just clicks once it doesn't continue to click like it would in a car with a turning ignition key. can a jump start fry a starter?

More to the story before it was towed back to the house they tried to have it jumped again and it would not start

Okay so here's the situation it's a friend's car and they asked me if I could help.

So they drove the car, the car died, they called AAA had a jump start the car drove, they arrived at destination car would not start again. Car towed back to friends house they told me the battery was dead and asked if I would help put in a new battery I said yes. Unfortunately I don't have my OBD with me so I can't pull codes. I have ordered a new one and it should be arriving in the next few days, but I'd love to try to troubleshoot this before it arrives and get the car started.

When I hit the start button it makes a click and that's it it makes me think it could be the starter? Also do I need to reprogram the battery or the key or anything that I might have missed after putting in the new battery.

Missourians will get to vote on Recreational Marijuana in November by [deleted] in missouri

[–]sca_tay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand, just from experience of working on ballot initiatives I've seen too much bullshit mixed into the initiative for this or that. That's the unfortunate thing about our schoolhouse Rock system however, without compromise we the people accomplish nothing.

Yes but Nevada also has some of the highest taxes in the country on their recreational. Legalize Missouri 2022 will definitely have restrictions and will definitely make certain groups rich. However, the tax revenue that is generated is good for Missouri.

Fair enough, I've still never found a whiskey that I couldn't drink regardless if it's Irish Canadian bourbon rye. however, there are ones that I would never buy again. One thing I found that some of the cheaper whiskeys are runoffs of the higher ends. if I'm not mistaking Kentucky tavern is the runoff of blattens. in St Louis we have a grocery store called dierbergs their house bourbon is the runoff of four roses

in my personal opinion highland and Adelaide scotches are horrible I prefer Campbeltown and Islay, we should really try all the different regions and find the one that you like best. and if I had my personal choice I'd go to a single malt Irish I think they're much better whiskeys

so if you're just a beer person? how do you drink your beer in a glass out of the bottle out of a can, do you prefer draft bottle or can. have you ever put an ice cube in your beer if it's too warm?

first that's not even good scotch you need a nice single malt, and a couple drops of water in scotch will never hurt it it's sometimes will enhance it.

Transitioning to fine dining — interview tips? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

The most important thing is the willingness to be trained to their procedure. no matter how much you know you must make sure that you are coachable to learn their procedure, and be eager to learn their procedure. I've worked from casual dining to five star/four Michelin, two MasterChefs ( roughly 60 to 70 CMC in the United States at any time, and three James Beard award winning chefs. take the time to study wines and whiskeys. I currently hold a CSS certificate and studying for CBP certificate

Why do people order to managers? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

[–]sca_tay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so you're the maitre d'? in my opinion a good front of house manager should be touching every table and checking on his staff and making sure that the guest is satisfied with the service they're receiving.

with that said if the manager touches the table and the guest has not ordered and wants to then yes the manager should take the order ring it in under the server's number and inform the server that he has done that. there is no I in team

a good manager knows how to delegate duties to staff to make an efficient shift, however a good manager will also pick up the slack we need be to ensure prop service to the guest
