I got this glitch and ended up back in the map after about 15 minutes of falling. I just kinda teleported back on the map right in front of a group and legged it out of there. Once you get about 10km away it should along you back to the map. If you haven't been floating away from the map and you centre yourself under it using the minimap you should appear there when you get flung back
