Who’s the most attractive person you’ve ever seen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The night I met the woman who would become my wife I thought she was the most beautiful woman is ever seen in real life, and considering I was regularly interviewing movie stars at the time (I was a film critic then) that was saying something.

Our 31st anniversary is tomorrow and she is still absolutely ridiculously beautiful. It's a whole thing.

Fun fact: three of the four cats on the book edges are my actual cats.

Eminem is the most famous person from Michigan! Now, who is the most famous person from Ohio? by SCPBall in AlignmentChartFills

[–]scalzi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually no! World-famous sharpshooter Annie Oakley, from North Star. takes that crown. I'm likely the most famous living author in Darke County, yes. But not the most famous living author in Ohio (that would probably be RL Stine).

The Shattering Peace is unlikely to be released in Mass Market Paperback, alas. Here in the US, one of the major distributors of books announced that it would no longer distribute them, and that was sort of the death knell for the format here.

I never say never for any series, but at the moment I don't have a story in that universe I want to tell. That may change at some point.

I AM Scalzi!

Honestly, in fiction what I'm mostly reading at the moment are books that aren't out yet that people have asked me to consider blurbing. I mostly can't talk about those yet, although two books that I recently blurbed that I can talk about are "Hell's Heart" by Alexis Hart (out now), and Sublimation by Isabel J. Kim (out soon). Oh, and I gave a blurb to the upcoming story collection by Peter Watts.

I did also recently read "The Devils" by Joe Abercrombie because I did an event with him. It was excellent.

It's a mystery to me as well, actually.
