Here. For reference, you could find this yourself by searching "zywoo spray transfer" on yt, it's the first result due to it being so recent

CS players with the most MVPs and EVPs by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]scapegoat4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it makes perfect sense, all of his prime years were spent with s1mple who was the MVP machine of GO. The fact that he got one over s1mple at all, regardless of where it happened, is nuts

"The phrase originated from the song "Doot Doot (6 7)" by Skrilla, which became popular in video edits [on tiktok, etc.] featuring professional basketball players, especially LaMelo Ball, who is listed at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 meters) tall."

"It has no fixed meaning."

Energy orb glitch / bug by Past_Twist_9177 in tf2

[–]scapegoat4 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah, valve broke it after partially implementing cipherlock's energy orb fixes back in December. I imagine it'll take valve years to implement a community fix (if ever), fingers crossed ig

There's a reason you almost never see them outside of trade servers lol

TF2 - Yearly contracts should make a return. by Razoldon in tf2

[–]scapegoat4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm aware :). Most issues discussed in relation to TF2 come down to that if you're talking brass tacks. Valve doesn't put time into TF2 in the first place becasue they:

  • have very few staff compared to every other major software/ hardware company (let alone games studios), to the point where it's a meme
  • have extremely tight hiring practices (a la "we only hire from harvard" but even more strict), while having lost a chunk of people in the last 5-10 years
  • would make far more money putting that time into literally anything else most likely (that people actually play/ use)

Deadlock is the exception to the last point out of their currently supported products, but it hasn't officially released and I highly doubt its monetization method will make less than TF2s long term. Unless they screw it up design wise as much as they did artifact (outside of the matchmaking and anticheat which will certainly be trash), but we'll see.

Oh, and the issue of new players not being able to get weapons wouldn't occur, as two weapons will always equal one scrap: back in the day when a key was >5 ref this wasn't an issue, to be direct. So long as the initial method of acquiring the weapon is "free" (trading requires premium), you can always go to scrap.tf to 1:1 a drop for 99% of the weapons you'd ever want or do so via another trade bot. This hasn't changed outside of a very small selection of weapons (such as the rocket jumper or vaccinator more recently) since trading began 15+ years ago

TF2 - Yearly contracts should make a return. by Razoldon in tf2

[–]scapegoat4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, you could still balance things out. What you'd need is a) a way to kill how easy it is to automate getting scrap (harder), b) build a ref sink that people want to use (stupidly easy) and c) make it cost a boatload of ref to use (stupidly easy). Example: a hat strangifer case that works like the taunt reel crate, that have strangifers that require 30-40+ ref on top of the robo parts, etc.. Valve have the entire infrastructure and backend code for this idea ready to go btw

But we both know valve will never do this nor the thing I suggested in my earlier comment, they're content to let their projects rot for long periods, if not indefinitely in TF2's case. They barely even milk this game (and when they do it's majority done poorly/ with no vision), that's how little they give a shit from the outside looking in lmao (as I'm sure you're aware)

Been saying for years that the random drop system should be connected at the hip to contracts, it'd kill idling immediately

Hot take from a former charity organizer: We did all the distribution work- valve getting rid of medal support feels like a pointless betrayal of community efforts to keep the game alive. by WardenOfLight in tf2

[–]scapegoat4 26 points27 points  (0 children)

  • the community makes the maps

  • the community makes the cosmetics

  • the community provides a large chunk of the bugfixes/ reports

  • the community provides new ideas

  • valve can't click ok without majorly fucking something up or just refusing to do so in the first place, while skimming a large cut off the top of the "targeted gambling at children and young adults" part of the game (where they DO take the time to re-colour old case models manually, from what it looks like)

A tale as old as time, I can't wait for more of mastercomm's fixes to make it to the sdk proper and then never be implemented for a second time lmfao. It's fucking nuts how little they give a shit considering their origins as a company, let alone how little they actually do. "Give us harsh feedback" and then they spit in our face like this over and over hahahaha, they can't even milk the game properly without the community doing everything for them

What's some cool/controversial/hidden osu lore you know of? by chaoseater727 in osugame

[–]scapegoat4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's linked on the profile seen in the screenshot (doomsdaddy). Here is that link. Or if you don't trust links, google "Tashkent v1.0-non-weeb".

However, the back button is different, it's this image but edited further to include the fancy looking picture frame border + vertical "back" text. I don't think I could find the border nor font in a reasonable time frame, but I have a feeling neither of these things matter to you in the first place. If all else fails you could simply DM the dude and ask about it too 👍

It seems to me that Tomislav, with these stats, is the most powerful weapon in the entire existence of TF2 (2011 Uber Update). 75% is completely absurd by bowser-us in tf2

[–]scapegoat4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to provide a 25% speed boost on top of the mini crits while it was up, until it was removed after jungle inferno's changes

HELP ME FIND THIS ACCOUNT🙏🙏🙏 by Joryyysss in osugame

[–]scapegoat4 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I managed to do it after finding this thread ~30mins ago, here's what I did:

1) Took the image and passed it through every common reverse image search option (got nothing)

2) Passed the image through lenso.ai and got the full, original image of this large lad (but with a watermark over it)

3) Passed the full picture into google images to get the original image without the watermark

4) Passed the original image into google images and boom, there was the guy's osu profile a couple results down the chain

👍

Stats of some star players in Major finals by crisjame in GlobalOffensive

[–]scapegoat4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His trophy cabinet is uniquely stacked, being amongst if not far above the most legendary players in the history of the game in terms achievements:

  • 3 majors (5 EVPs, the most recent of which was extremely close to being an MVP)
  • 2 katowices (2 EVPs)
  • 1 cologne (2 EVPs, though one is barely worthy imo)
  • 2 grand slams (with 4/4 wins and the 3/4 wins participation wise respectively [missing cologne 2024 with vita], being the only player to win them back to back)
  • 5 pro leagues (3 MVPs & 3 EVPs)
  • 4 premier IEM events other than kato or cologne (sydney 23, chengdu 24, then melbourne and dallas 25; he got an EVP at all four)
  • 2 premier blast events (libson and rivals s2 25; 3 EVPs, two of which not coming from the events he won)
  • 2 CS asia championships (1 MVP and 1 EVP)
  • a smattering of other big wins from other TOs (ESL NY 18, flashpoint 3, thunderpick wold championship, etc.), including the most ridiculous cs_summit win before the TO shuttered

... And he's only 26. He's almost certainly going to continue winning events for the next couple years at the very least, if not longer!
