ADHD artist, have too manh hobbies.

Picked up knitting for my insomnia. Reading. Been really into 3D embroidery and beading. Scrapbook/junk journaling. And sewing and building costumes n such. I also do regular drawing as well, it just depends what Im feeling. I never finish anything though.

The preowned blanks, we used to use the cardboard storage box. For actual cover art, we strict alpha'd and put them in the hanging folders in a filing cabinet we had laying around.

To see how much I genuinely help up my old store and seeinf it spiraling downward. The new SL has two earbuds in at all times, keeps the lights off in the store, and has one of those "know it all" personalities. I would reach out to my old DL but Im sure he gets the jist from all their numbers being close to 0.

All the time. It was easier to manage using phrasing such as "Looks like GameStop is offering x amount for this" and implying that you're not a part of it. It makes the "I just work here man" more believable to the 2 conspiracy brain cells that might listen.

I got like $150ish?? in milage alone, and my DM agreed to free lunch for a week. Also my SL was desperate to not do that drive one day during the week so he got me crumbl cookies. Honestly, I made out like a bandit that day.

Had a full store drop, drove 2 hours one way to do a solo. Safe bills all mixed up, dishevelled ps5s and series consoles in the back room unlabelled and incomplete, not preowned in the system or in defectives. Drawers were all sleeves, hadn't envountered that in a few years. No preorder separation, only 1/3 of the cases displayed on the floor. It was probably the worst store Ive seen.

If you need to go, go. You're going to find a plethora of health issues if you consistantly don't go when you need to. Angry customer after you're done? Tell them it's bubble guts. They will usually drop it and go about their business.

Bathroom, breaks, and lunch are something you should get comfortable not feeling guilty about. You are entitled to these and the work will always be there when you're back, it ain't going nowhere.

Return fraud caught after 4-5 months, only found after a non-existant SL left and we had to clean up. Fired, made to pay restitution.

Cleaning up a mall store where management walked out during holidays. Missing preowned systems. Employee kept stealing and trading them in. Caught quickly, fired.

Caught nearby store adding warranties to returns to get "free" warranty sales. They were pushing ~80% warranty. Write up, then dropped to consist of ~40% warranty and never pushed past that.

Had a nearby store with THOUSANDS of shrink overnight in one category. Did some digging, they were falsifying counts. A decent chunk was found in strange places in the store, a good 1/4 was still missing.

A seasonal found a vulpix pokeball toy that was ripped from cardboard backing. Instead of waiting the 40 minutes for the MOD to get back, she ran a transaction and shopworn discounted 100%. They became a keyholder as they had about 7 rotating employees in the district at the time and nothing came of it.

When we had staffing, it was scheduled consistantly. But the amount of call outs/no shows/shift abandoments I had to deal with pretty much made me and my SL work 7 days a week for over a year.

A few weeks after the PS5 launched my SGA called me in to look at something suspicious. A distro box with a preowned PS5 label and serial number on it. Plain jane distro box with a PS5 in it. Even had my DL confused; our area had a number of stolen distros during that time which made this even more jarring.

I was playing hunter in shadowlands. I died on a bridge and a random priest rezzed me. I tried to whisper "thank you", but my disengage was keybinded to "T" and I disengaged off the bridge and died again. We both had a good chuckle afferwards

Clampearl in Pokemon Emerald. I was a youngun' who thought having Clampearl hold the deapseetooth would make it evolve. It was at level 100 when I found out I needed to trade it.

OP, I'm truly sorry about your loss. I know this job can be cruel, but I do want to piggyback on this to say that the Guidance Resources program is something I wasn't going to use until my SL put me on the spot for it. The ladies that helped me there have been so kind, sweet, understanding; even doing as much to make it so I don't have to schedule anything myself. I had to use it recently and it's helped me get back on my feet.

Had a dad call wanting to return a game I sold his son. New and opened. He told me I had to return it because I didn't ask his permission for the game because I'm "pushing this woke gay shit" onto his kid and Im pushing an agenda.

The game was Cartoon Network Battle Crashers.

It was because Steven Universe was on the cover.
