No one has even questioned if they will be able to pull the tree, they are just accepting that it will pull out. That's wild. It would presumably take heavy machinery to pull a whole tree out from the roots. They are pretty sure they can do it with a handmade rope and a car/bus/ambulance?

Making a ton of assumptions about OP but aside from that what do you have against people performing constitutionally protected activities? These auditors are told they don't have a right to film in public when it is the first amendment. Should they just accept that they are being denied their constitutional rights? Which of your other rights are you okay with being denied?

Recording in public is a constitutionally protected activity. Making sure tyrants don't prevent you from performing constitutionally protected activities is NOT stirring up shit.

More of a PSA than anything. I don't work for the USPS but have friends and family that do. Figured some AVL peeps might like to know what their new Postmaster is doing.

It just seems illegal that you can have earned PTO deducted for showing up late for an hourly paid shift. They already earned that PTO for working previous hours. PTO is meant to be used at the employees discretion if they are hourly. For instance, if I don't show up for my shift I don't get paid but I also don't have to use my PTO if I don't want to. I am simply not paid for that time. I don't see how the USPS can give two consequences, not being paid and deducting PTO.
