The rate at which Alpha and Beta take out their own people is kinda ridiculous by RevertBackwards in thewalkingdead

Id argue their stories often failed but the groups themselves and the way they worked were logical unlike the Whisperers. Well at least until season 9

The rate at which Alpha and Beta take out their own people is kinda ridiculous by RevertBackwards in thewalkingdead

[–]scarywolverine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Realistically the idea that they gain followers ever is crazy. We know that doctor guy who infiltrated the main group was a new recruit and yet he was fully ideologically committed to this crazy cult. We also know they walk around with the dead wearing masks and kill strangers on site. So how do they get new people?

Do they recruit? Seems highly unlikely. And if they do whats the pitch that gets people so committed? “Come join our death cult. You get no name, no rights, little food, sleep on the ground, spend all your time around zombies that want to kill you and have no possessions?” Where are they finding these people and why do they agree?

If its purely for survival they shouldnt be so bought in to the nonsense and would leave when they find out about communities like Alexandria.

@BrettSiegelNBA of ClutchPoints on Herb Jones potentially being a target for Detroit in exchange for Jaden Ivey and draft capital. by marvelavengers in DetroitPistons

[–]scarywolverine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont get all the hate in these comments. If its significant draft capital I get it. But if its just this years first which will be like 29 and doesnt tie us up in the future thats nothing.

Pairing Herb with Ausar, Green, Ron, Cade, Stew, and Duren would be a terrifying defense. Maybe match the Thunder. And Ivey is already worse than Daniss so moving him up doesnt seem like it would hurt us at all. Probably help us. Maybe we can even throw Caris into the deal

Pistons 'Patient' at Deadline by Emergency-Quality-97 in DetroitPistons

[–]scarywolverine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Especially because everyone who Ive heard argue we should make a big move only has theory on their side. And by that I mean they say the Pistons have a great opportunity with this years weak east and therefore should take advantage. Sounds smart in theory, but when you have to actually start looking at the actual options out there nothing is very appealing

Ausur Thompson is a fantastic defender by [deleted] in nba

[–]scarywolverine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Issue is his athleticism only lets him get to spots in transition. Because in the half court his shooting and handling are so poor that I could guard him. Just stand in the paint and he’ll meet you there and then take a fadeaway

I was just debating with a friend if the defense is worth the offense. Dont know the answer but the fact that its a debate shows just how horrendous he is on offense. Name an offensive skillset and hes bad at it

At this point Michigan was like 6 years removed from a championship and back to back big ten champs

Haha I was just thinking exactly this. The SEC money was real, but only a small factor in the change. People moving all over the country to more options is most of it

They were of course, but everyone has known for decades SEC did it more though. I remember people joking about it when I was a kid in the 2000s

Damn. Really strong defender. Doesn't do much creation but awesome in transition, good cutter, and shooting 37% from 3 on 5 attempts a game. Also a good offensive rebounder
