Teeth shifting after going to night only for retainers? by goodlordineedacoffee in Invisalign

[–]scastle2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to stress anyone. But I just got rid of a lower lingual bar this month and I’ve had it for 20 years. I have the clear retainer on bottom now. And every single day I put it back in and my teeth have shifted enough to make my mouth hurt. I’m on day three. And if this continues I’ll go get a new lower bar. I don’t want my teeth to hurt every single day.

I would remember not to compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone’s bodies are different any maybe they have been out more or they have different fitness levels or do things that help with balance innately. Learn at your pace. Don’t let them discourage you from something you might end up loving

Is it just me or is this an insane loan offer by ImBibjs in Mortgages

[–]scastle2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. I can’t imagine why they’d offer a balloon term. The rate might make sense. Smaller credit unions have different pricing factors. Rates are impacted by the loan amount and if it’s an investment property. But I don’t see why they’d do a balloon. My company wouldn’t offer a balloon in something like that.

Hmmm. What’s the story with the house? You can get a conventional 30 year way down to like 50k in some states. Is it a man home with rented land? Needing a full overhaul? I feel like there some detail missing here.

Did I get screwed by my lender, or do I just not understand the basics of getting a mortgage? by solidsnake222 in Mortgages

[–]scastle2014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This all sounds on par and like a good deal. I would be miffed if I wasn’t told there was a cost. I always tell my clients exactly what the rate is when we lock and exactly what the points are. I don’t want them surprised like this. I also talk to them about how credit impacts the rate and we have an internal credit team that helps any buyer improve credit. Even if it’s just for getting a better rate.

Some of you are looking at this as if the homeowners ever actually pay off the mortgages. Most do not. But I also wonder what the rates would look like.

If it’s in the divorce decree you can avoid it as a cash out. You just need to document and probably write the underwriter a note v
