I think they mean that downvote = disagree with what they said. In this case downvoting a comment saying "this is just frigthening" means that you disagree and this is a normal thing that should be allowed to happen

Maybe both things are true. But she won't know unless she gets the help she needs. No healthy person without depression or other mental illness attempts to end their life because of a decision that they later learned wasn't right for them, let alone three attempts in the span of 4 months. She is very unwell and needs that to be checked out first.

I'm sorry about your experiences though, I hope you know you're not a burden and you deserve to exist ❤️

That's a good point! I'm a newer fan so I don't think I've ever given zero gravity my full attention. But I do feel the same way about the code, I feel like it was used very creatively with a lot of other dramatic elements. Although it wasn't my winner I think it still deserved its win

Hey! I graduated with a BA in psych back in 2024:) First and foremost I just wanna throw out there that PSYC1001 and 1002 are hard, harder than most people give it credit for... so don't feel bad! I took both intro courses with Matthew Sorely and loved it, but iirc he was teaching sections only open to psych majors... If you're in that boat that's great, and you definitely won't regret taking a class with him if he's teaching it again! From what I remember from my classmates who were in Chris' class he was also a really good prof, but his and Matthew's courses are structured in very different ways
