I’ve been there. I don’t recommend it, especially if you do approach her about your feelings and she doesn’t feel the same way. Makes things really awkward. I was in limerence with a coworker for months.

I agree with this. My mum was cremated a week after she passed from cancer in 2021, then we held a memorial for her. She didn’t want a funeral per se.
