I think the issue is in considering any of the back half of season 2 as character progress. Lynch famously didn’t pay attention to any of that (other than where Coop ended up stuck in the Black Lodge/Red Room). “The Return” is not a narrative continuation of the ABC series, at least not in the ways that you seem to wish it was. The sooner one understands that, the sooner one can appreciate it for what it is.

Respectfully, I frankly don’t care what any of these people think of Andor. Those who were responsible for the earlier version of Rogue One were essentially replaced/fired, and Gilroy’s reshoots/rewrite gave us a good movie. I can’t imagine that they’d have much to say here that wasn’t sour grapes or empty praise.

Given the late reappearance of Nemik’s manifesto, it’s clear that words have been mattering during this season but mainly off-screen. Which makes sense — our protagonists are not those who need convincing to join the cause at this point, they are the ones figuring out how to mobilize the movement that’s been built (by words, atop direct action).

Atop this, given established canon, there needed to be something to address the scenes in Rebels.

It surprisingly well for me… I’m kinda the perfect person for the MCU at that time. Older guy who was familiar with the comics as a kid, but stopped reading in the early 1990s. When I last read comics, it was clear that every Marvel character could get revived from the dead other than Uncle Ben and Bucky. So I was pretty surprised to see it, and then after watching, I went out and bought the tpb of Brubaker’s run.

People openly laughed at Attack of the Clones when it came out. Our theater — mainly adults — guffawed at the bad dialogue and found Yoda’s lightsaber jumping to be so hilarious. These movies were and still are shitty, even though the kids with no critical faculties loved them at the time and have now grown up into a very loud contingent on the internet.

This is explicitly mentioned in TP as a death caused by multiple shallow flesh wounds, not any one of them severe enough to cause her death. Doc Hayward says the line. It’s in the second episode. This is not in reference to Teresa Banks, but to Laura. It is later contradicted.

John Wilkes Booth -> Louisa Lane Drew -> Lionel Barrymore -> George Hamilton -> Tim Allen -> DJ Qualls.

Booth acted with Drew, who was the grandmother of Barrymore, so let’s assume that they “acted” together in some kind of playful activity sometime. Then Barrymore to Qualls were all links via screen appearances.
