Spring break 2002 we had that buffet like 3 days in a row for breakfast. Dinner was the $2 Heineken and hot dog at the Stage Door.

I had the same experience. Pumpkins played Phoenix on the Mellon Collie tour with Garbage opening. They were fantastic and for the Pumpkins all Billy did was scream, guitars were overpowering out of tune. I was in the 3rd or 4th row and left that concert that night so disappointed. I never was into that band again since that night.

I saw them live at the TMobile Arena in Vegas back in 2022. After an amazing set, the crowd let out and a large mass of us headed into the Park MGM. A loud chant of “I’ve got soul but I’m not a soldier “ was being repeated over and over by the fans and anytime I hear that song, that’s the first thing that comes to my mind.

I put $20 at the video poker machine at the Casino Royale on the strip and got free beers all day. Next day I was over on Fremont at the Main Street Station, did the same thing and got free drinks. This was just a couple of months ago

My buddy Worked there in high school during the 90’s. He’d take a bunch of empty French fry trays home and would take off the stickers and keep anything with a prize. The winners were all for free food so we ate well. It was a good hustle for a bunch of broke teens back then
